Easter Jeep Safari
Spanish Trail Arena (registration, expo and raffle HQ); trailheads around Moab · Moab, UT · Mar 20 to Mar 28, 2027
2027 edition. The Red Rock 4-Wheelers home page states verbatim: "Easter Jeep Safari for 2027 is March 20th through March 28th". The 2027 registration opening date is NOT yet published as of 2026-07-27; the FAQ says only that registration begins in January 2027 and that the exact opening date is posted on the home page.
The drop date is not published yet. We are watching for it.
Red Rock 4-Wheelers does NOT sell RV sites or camping for Easter Jeep Safari. There is no event campground and no RV/camping page anywhere on rr4w.com; the site navigation has no camping section for EJS. What the club sells is trail-ride slots only, at $75.00 per vehicle per trail day, online only on rr4w.com. Before you can register you must create a profile on rr4w.com AND add a vehicle to that profile. Registration is per-person and per-vehicle; you cannot register a group, and you can only register one vehicle per profile on any given day. The FAQ states registration begins in January 2027 and directs you to the home page for the exact opening date, which has not been posted yet, so no on-sale date or time is given here. Historically this behaves as a timed online onsale in January and popular trails fill fast because trails are capacity limited. On-site check-in happens at Spanish Trail Arena, 7am to 10am each morning of the event plus all day Thursday and Friday; the check-in area is closed the Saturday before Easter and on Easter Sunday. For a place to park a rig you must book Moab-area camping yourself; the club's own FAQ punts to the Moab Visitor Center at Main and Center, Moab Happenings, the Chamber of Commerce and the Travel Council.
Official camping page- How you get in
- No on-site RV
- Hookups
- Not stated
- Price
- Not stated on the official page. Confirm with the event.
- Rig limits
- No RV rig limits are published because no RV camping is sold by the event. Trail vehicle rules apply instead: full-size street-legal 4WD only, street-legal rock buggies allowed, no UTV, ATV, sand buggy or crawler. No drones on a trail ride during events.
- Eligibility
- No club membership is required to register for Easter Jeep Safari. A free rr4w.com website profile with at least one vehicle attached to it IS mandatory before you can register for the event or any trail. Vehicle gate: full-size street-legal 4-wheel-drive vehicles of all kinds, plus street-legal rock buggies. No UTVs, no sand buggies, no crawlers, no ATVs. All trail communication is on GMRS, so you need GMRS radio gear.
- Worth knowing
- HIGH CONFIDENCE NEGATIVE: this event has no on-site RV inventory to sell, so hookups, price_low, price_high, price_unit and onsale_datetime are all deliberately left empty (null). I checked rr4w.com home, Event-Home, FAQ and membership pages; camping appears only in connection with the club's separate Labor Day Safari Campout, never with Easter Jeep Safari. The Camp Moab link in the nav is a youth-focused EJS sub-event, not a campground, and campmoab.cfm returns 404. Old Spanish Trail Arena's own site publishes no RV camping, rates or hookup info. Fees paid to the club go to BLM, NPS and State of Utah land access, which funds regional camping facilities but does not buy you a site. Lat/lon deliberately omitted rather than guessed. Nothing about 2027 registration timing should be presented as a date until rr4w.com posts it. There is no dedicated RV or camping page to link, so official_url points at the FAQ, which is the page where the club addresses lodging.
